Beginner Workshop
This workshop is perfect if you're just dipping your toes into the world of product photography. You’ll learn the essentials of capturing great product shots using just your smartphone. We’ll cover:
Selecting simple yet stunning backdrops and props for Insta-worthy images

Composition & styling tips and tricks to make your photos stand out

You might be wondering... “why should I choose to learn with Hailey?”. Well, after six years of rocking my own product photography business, I've truly mastered the art of making products shine. But that's not actually where my journey began! Before I delved into the world of photography, I spent nearly a decade immersed in the product and graphic design industry, crafting innovative designs for renowned Australian brands such as Tinyme, Micador, and Kmart.
My unique background blends the worlds of design and photography, giving me a comprehensive understanding of how to capture products in their best light. Aside from my killer eye for detail and knack for capturing the perfect shot, I bring a boatload of enthusiasm and a touch of quirky charm to every workshop.

The studio is located in the leafy eastern suburb of Heathmont, at the rear of a residential property. The address will be included in your booking confirmation email. There is plenty of street parking available out the front. Please do not park in the driveway. The studio is accessible via the gate under the carport. There is 1 small step on to the decking and another small step in to the studio. If you have any accessibility concerns, please get in touch and I will do my best to accommodate. The studio has toilet facilities.

Full payment is required to secure your booking. Cancellations made 2 or more weeks prior to a booked workshop date will receive a full refund.

Absolutely! I would recommend bringing along a couple of your favourite products from your range. You may choose to bring a product that is particularly challenging to capture. We can tackle that tricky little bugger together!

You understand and acknowledge that there may be inherent risks, dangers, and hazards in partaking in a Mrs Penny workshop that can result in injuries and accidents. Mrs Penny accepts no liability for any personal injury or damages suffered related to the event. You release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Mrs Penny and its managers and employees from any and all claims, actions, or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, or otherwise, which may arise from voluntary participation in any workshops or classes, resulting products from workshops or classes, or from use of equipment provided by Mrs Penny. You accept full liability for participating minors.
Please note: Any damages caused by the neglect or reckless actions by members of your group at the studio are on your tab. From broken cameras to damaged props – it's your responsibility to pay for!

You got it babe! I also offer 1 on 1 mentoring sessions where you can soak up every nugget of knowledge like a sponge and dive deep into your product range and brand. We can tackle a mini session (4 hours) or jump right in to an epic session (8 hours). Either way, you get me right by your side, teaching you how to photograph your amazing products.
